In every day of our lives we can only be ourselves and do our best. In my decades of travels and life experiences one thing is clear, we are all basically the same to certain extents. 

Photography and racing are not far apart. We both admire and envy those with better equipment and greater talent. We set that aside and go with what we have, doing the best we can with the equipment we have. We look for the applause and grind our teeth though the rough times. We put ourselves out there on stage for the world to love or hate. Risk of failure fuels our drive for success, or at least a taste of it. And along the way we make friends and have a good time with life.
